On October 15th we held our annual Oak Tree Run in Seoul, Korea. 550 people registered for our run and we had 35 countries represented among the participants. 100% of the registration fees went to scholarships for Korean orphans through Oak Tree Project (www.oaktreeproject.com). Among the runners were kids from the orphanages, our Oak Tree students and mentors, families with babies in strollers, runners with pets, and a husband pushing his wife in a wheelchair. After the run Kate Kim and Sonya Maria (along with Zach Holmes) performed on stage. It was a great time! Thank you to everyone who participated and also to those who sponsored runners (which is still accepting donations). Through the event we were able to raise enough funds for about three scholarships for the kids. Wonderful!
Our friend Tom Lim put together a short video of the run to be used as a promo in the future. Thank you, Tom!
Here are some pictures from the event. Registration opened at 8:30am (the run started at 9:30) and our volunteers did a great job checking everyone in, giving out their numbers, giving them their free t-shirt, and storing their bags.

We plan to continue to hold this event each year, likely in mid-October. We should have information about the next run up on our website (www.oaktreeproject.com) by mid-August with registration being opened in early September each year.
