A Life of Stories

The past two Tuesdays I spoke at two campus ministries, one at Korea University and the other at Seoul National University (both under Emmaus Campus Ministry). What God put on my heart for both campuses is the truth that with God our life should get better and better. Not better in a sense of material wealth or earthly achievements, but better in more joy, more love, more faith, more peace, and more and more of all the great goodness God has for us. Life should get more and more exciting!

If the only testimony a believer has to share is the story of their conversion, then it needs to be questioned whether they are really walking with God. Conversion stories are powerful and should be shared throughout one’s lifetime, but it shouldn’t be the only story a believer has to share. If you’re walking with God Almighty then you should expect more and more faith-filled stories in your lifetime. God wants you to be a witness, not just of your conversion but of your life! A believer should expect to have to do at least something by faith, and if you’re walking with God closely you should expect to do more and more by faith. It’s when you walk by faith that you are guaranteed to have more stories to tell to inspire the next generation.

I embedded the message to Korea University in this blog post. It’s titled, “It Gets Better and Better.” I apologize for the sound quality; I didn’t use a mic because I was so close to the students. I believe it’s worth a listen though. Hope it blesses you!
